Welcome back Elder Scrolls Junkies! So on my last blog I wrote about my joys and woes of just starting up and running through Stonefall! I know that on my last blog I didn't finish Stonefall, so let me recap what you missed. I still couldn't beat the raid, dungeon, whatever you want to call it, so no help there. Still not a werewolf, that really sucks, and still no good story....I don't think you should be surprised at that. The last main story quests that I embarked on had a blind man teleport me back into oblivion to rescue the blonde chic from the beginning. When I got in she was a slave in rags...behave! I had to find her armor, show her how to be a brave woman, and kill some baddies to get her axe back that way she could feel just like her old self again. We saw one of her old pals while we were in there, got about 2 minutes of story, and then ran back to get teleported out. That's all you missed.....I know save your claps for the end. Last time I checked on her and the blind man, she was playing the lute for him while he was rocking in his chair in the cave.....no really, that is what was going on, just wait you will see lol.And she will tell you her daddy taught her the song she was playing for the blind prophet lol. So then we get a message from some random quest giver that runs up to you(just like I told you, quests will come find you!) that a plague is happening in Deshaan, and that they need your help! Guess they don't know who I am yet. So you go there, and the story actually starts out pretty good. Plague zombie thingies are running a muck killing everyone and eating people on the walking paths, and in lakes, and in trees(best glitch ever lol), just doing what zombies do. So I did God only knows how many side quests and ended the plague just like that. I had to fight some crazy guy in a cave that liked to throw green mud at me and fuzz up my scree, really lame, really easy, then the plague was done. After that your quests consist of killing snakes and rats in the swamp to help lizards, saving lizards from cat pirates, and killing a daedric cult leader. Way too much cat and lizard, not enough cult leader killing. And the swamp missions are really boring to boot, and I'm actually being serious. It took me over 30 minutes to capture 8 rats because I had to compete with over 30 people on this server! Deshaan is definitely not as fun as Stonefall. I mean yes there are dungeons(that you can't do without people) and caves, and oblivion portals, but having all these people on the servers ruins the experience! Now don't get me wrong, I love the fact that the game is co-op, that is great, but I don't love running into the final temple of the area, and having to watch all the enemies killed while I try to catch up to the rest of the action. And I'm a great player, but I'm a dual wielding elf, and everyone else is a mage or sorcerer. So they just blast everyone before I can even raise a sword....-_-. So if you suck at the game or just are too low of a level, its all good, you can just sit back and watch an army of OP players destroy everything in their path while you watch from a far. But wait, I think you have to have a hit on the enemies to count toward your XO, so don't forget to throw your shoes at them before they die lol. That way you still get XP. Fair is fair! And for a FYI when you get to Deshaan, if you need anything, armor made, weapons, money, materials, whatever, make sure you hit up Artisans Craftworks. Because you can't go in that place without 50 to 100 people being in their trying to haggle with you all their worthless garbage to get your money! I mean if you TV is not on mute, I literally had someone asking people if anyone wanted to suck @#%!@, I'm not kidding, whatever it takes lol. So if you need something, that's where to go, and let the force be with you...and your purse! Nothing really exciting to tell you beyond this, next I am supposed to be entering Shadowfen, so maybe, just maybe, the story will pick up, and things will be awesome again. Whether or not, I will still let you know. Until then, lease comment below, and share my blog to people you know. Appreciate all the support!
