Elder Scrolls Online...So Far in Stonefalls

Elder Scrolls Online! I finally picked up ESO a couple days back and actually got to play for a full experience yesterday....all day...it consumes your life as I'm sure you probably already know if you are a fan of Elder Scrolls.  Anyway, I would have played for two full days.....but.....that image below now haunts my dreams and would not let me play the first day. I think myself and about 1 million other Xbox users contacted ESO Online via support and got jack diddly when we asked about what the crap was going on with the servers. But I'm use to that kind of tech support so lets pretend this never happened and will never happen again.....you can stop looking at that image at the bottom of the screen now. Game starts out with you in Hell...no literally you are in Hell, or Oblivion, or whatever they want to call it and you have to escape. I will save you the boring cinematic because that they were and the tutorial would kill you, thankfully if you create another character you can skip it! Yes! When I got out of Oblivion I was in an all too familiar place....MORROWIND! Oh boy, there are huge mushrooms, and two legged baddies, and volcanic eruptions, and all sorts of funky stuff that you would expect from Morrowind. They did this right, I can definitely say I was petty impressed. Are the graphics as good as Skyrim? NO, but its a MMO, what would you expect? I can tell you they destroy WOW and D&D though. So you in Morrowind, and you get about 15 seconds of explanation about what you are supposed to do and then you pretty much have to figure the game out for yourself. At least that is it so far for me. There are loads! Of! Side quests! I mean everyone and their mother have a quest for you. Literally, you will have people running up to you asking you to help them with a quest. So you will never be bored when it comes to that aspect of the game. I can tell you that no matter how many quests I completed or turned in it takes forever to level up! This is not Skyrim or D&D, you will not be level 20 after 2 hours of game play...and if you are I hate you uncontrollably lol. So this game takes time, and work, and lots of patients. And if you don't have friends you better makes some because the baddies will kill you over and over and over again. Makes friends fast! Maybe its time for Destiny LFG to make another site for ESO, probably is one out there and if there is one, post the link and comment below! Help the viewers out! Money is not easy to make, before you ask, and the cheapest mount is 10K! So get hustling! The fastest way I found to make money was to steal, yes I said steal and sell it to fences, but they limit you to only 50 transactions a day so I guess they have bad karma and don't want to make it any worse or something because they will cut you off faster then the free food vendor at Walmart! Next best way I have found is go to where there are a lot of enemies and groups of people killing them, and join in and pick that garbage up! You will easily make about 1K per max inventory box per trip if you do it right, and it doesn't take long to max out your inventory either...trust me! Don't try this alone...you will die, over and over again. Any other money making ways I have not found yet, so if you know them, please share with us. Also about stealing in town. It is the best way to get good gear! Yes steal what you want to wear, I said it proudly! Because you will never be able to afford it when you start out. Just be cautious because if you get caught and the vendor screams for the guards they will pull a scorpion on you and throw a chain at you to pull you to them or stone you in place to keep you from fleeing! I'm not joking, this happened to me several times yesterday, also had the Mr. Crabs hand from Sponge Bob come out of the ground and hold me in place so the guard could kill me, wasn't pretty lol. The good thing about stealing is you will notice that everyone does it! There was easily 10 other people doing it while I was trying, and I would just wait for them to get caught before taking my own weapons and armor! Great way to stay alive! As far as playing with friends, the quest sharing option is glitch riddled, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So if you start pulling your hair out and throwing the controller at your little brother, don't, because its not you, its the game. I got to a raid, at least I think it was a raid cave on the far west of Morrowind and went in with my buddy...don't do it! You will be murdered without at least 10 friends or being 10 levels higher then that of what you are supposed to be. We didn't make it ten feet into the raid cave before being rushed by at least 15 goblins and getting murdered over and over again...So raids are out without ESO LFG...make it happen REDDIT! The last big thing that we tried to do was leave Morrowind to see what else was out in the land of Tamriel. Big Mistake. We went to The Rift, which was the lower portion of Skyrim only to find out that it starts out at level 42! We got chased by mountain lions, sabers, bears and more all the way to Riften only to find out we should have stayed in Morrowind. We tried to power level by killing high level enemies around higher level characters, you know what happened. The high level characters watched us get killed and laughed instead of helping....so much for friends. Also just a heads up, I did turn in a couple quests at the level 42 area and didn't not get extra XP, so its not worth the hassle. I would have to say the best thing I saw so far was the ability to become a Werewolf, there was a couple I saw, as low as level 10 players, and they would destroy everything on the screen....so that will be my objective for this week....become a werewolf, destroy everything lol. Just an FYI, to become a werewolf you have to be bitten, scratched, killed or ate by a NPC werewolf and then you contract the disease to get the quest to become a werewolf, don't know much more then that. I have heard that another layer can give you the werewolf trait, but I haven't seen any PVP yet, so I can't confirm, and yes I did wing at everyone I saw lol. One unlucky fisherman got two swords to the back of the head and landed in the pond....poor guy didn't even see it coming lol. When I find out more about the game, I will make sure to post another blog! Until then, please share comments and experiences below, and share share share this post! I appreciate all the support!
