Street Fighter IV
I bet a lot of you are wondering why I am writing a blog about Street Fighter IV, when it has already been out for years and the New Street Fighter V is on the way for PS4. Well.....I have a bitter taste in my mouth because even though I enjoy both consoles, I tend to play a little more of Xbox One and don't like the idea of Street Fighter V being an exclusive for PS4, and I'm sure a lot of you will agree, and some will not. So before all the PS4 loyals want to mortar me for not jumping up and down for joy for Sony on capturing this title as an exclusive let me tell you what I had in mind. I was watching the Capcom Fighters Tournament this weekend being streamed Live on Twitch out of Orlando and they were showcasing all the top talents on Street Fighter IV. And I was watching thinking to myself, man, this was a great game, and I haven't played in so long, let me go buy a copy for the One and........oh yea, it was only released on the 360 and PS3...damn. So then a brainstorm hit over the weekend and said; well since they are making the next Street Fighter Game only for Sony....why not release a Street Fighter IV Definitive Edition for the One! I mean it doesn't have to be an exclusive remake, just thought it would be poetic justice in a sense since the PS4 is getting Street Fighter V all to its lonesome....until further notice. Why not have a Definitive Edition of the last game for Xbox. I honestly could care less if it came out for both systems, I just want to play some Street Fighter on my Xbox, so Capcom can do whatever they want. With all the remakes and Definitive Editions coming out the wazoo, why not this? We all know Capcom will make money, and who doesn't want to play Street Fighter IV on a Next Gen Console? Hopefully Capcom pay some low end guy to read blogs and posts from people like me that way I can spark an idea in their head soon. Let me know your thoughts and opinions on this! Is this something that you would like to see released on either console! And don't forget to share!
